Study Aids
The FreeBible
The FreeBible is written by Steven Kollmansberger to provide PC users
with a quality, friendly Bible program that is free.
The FreeBible features a powerful search engine, allowing you to search
all or part of the Bible using both include words and exclude words. Search
results are shown as both a list of verses and the actual verse, and a
double click on the verse brings it up in context.
Includes Easton's Bible Dictionary, Nave's Topical Bible, Torrey's Topical
Textbook, and Strong's Lexicons, integrated into the program. A simple
double click on any word in the Bible brings up it's entry in these references,
as well as its Strong's number and definition. Studying word and phrase
meaning has never been easier!
It also includes maps, lists of miracles and parables and much more!
The Freebible's enhanced bookmark engine allows you to store as many bookmarks
as you want, tagging each one with a description and even categorizing
them into folders. You can easily manage bookmarks and entire folders.
The FreeBible can be customized in many ways, including full control
of fonts in the program. You can set the fonts to be any style, color,
and size you want. You can even set a different style for the words of
Christ. You can make the toolbar larger or smaller, and resize many of
the windows. With intuitive toolbar buttons and a comprehensive help file,
the FreeBible is one of the easiest to use programs with a minimal learning
curve.
